AFEPAS brings together former staff of the Environmental Protection Agency and its predecessor, the Environmental Protection Council, Ghana.

Who We Are

Association of Former EPA Staff (AFEPAS) is the official association of retired and former employees of the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), formerly the Environmental Protection Council (EPC), Ghana.

The Association provides a platform for former colleagues to reconnect, preserve institutional heritage, strengthen professional relationships and continue contributing knowledge and experience to environmental sustainability and national development.

Our Purpose

AFEPAS exists to bring former EPA/EPC staff together as one united family where members can continue to support one another professionally, socially and personally after retirement or separation from active service.

What We Do

Promote friendship, unity and lifelong fellowship among members.
Safeguard the physical, mental and social well-being of members.
Provide welfare support during illness, bereavement and family occasions.
Create networking, consultancy and knowledge-sharing opportunities.
Offer mentorship and professional guidance to younger environmental practitioners.
Support environmental protection initiatives and sustainable development.
